2024 Promotions

In recognition of their professional excellence, leadership, and continued contributions to the growth and success of the firm, SWA is pleased to announce the promotion of 19 individuals across eight studios. Additionally, three new managing principals were named in our Dallas, Sausalito, and Shanghai offices.

Principals

Abdallah Labib, PLA, LEED AP
Landscape Architect, New York

Abdallah has helped expand the firm’s portfolio in the Middle East and Africa and contributed to award-winning projects around the globe since he joined in 2017. He believes landscape as green infrastructure can provide a broad range of environmental, social, and economic benefits to build a resilient community and transform how we envisage urban design in the future. His notable projects include Riverside Park South, Dubai Opera District, and Paveletskaya Plaza.

Steven Lee, PLA
Landscape Architect, New York

Since joining SWA in 2017, Steven has helped bolster the New York studio’s local and regional presence while expanding into new markets. A champion of collaborative design, Steven has led high-profile projects such as Courthouse Park in Jersey City, Uptown ATX in Austin, Montclair State University in New Jersey, and Ghayath Trail at Dubai Expo 2020.
