Ya is experienced in a broad spectrum of landscape urbanism, public realm, and environment restoration projects. Prior to joining SWA, she worked at McGregor Coxall in both Sydney and Shanghai; at Mikyoung Kim Design in Boston; and at Plasma Studio/Groundlab in Beijing. Ya’s work acknowledges that disciplines blend when confronting complex urban challenges, and blends her landscape architecture, urban design, regional planning, and infrastructure implementation experience to meet a a guiding, experiential vision that includes innovative and precise detailing.
