Woonghee Lee is a landscape designer with 11 years of experience in planning and landscape design, with an architectural focus. He studied architecture in Korea and earned his master’s degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2009. His professional experiences have provided him with many opportunities to sharpen his design production and developmental skills as well as architectural philosophy.

He believes landscape encompasses the public more than any other discipline, and finds passion in creating new lifestyle and opportunities to enhance the communities. Based on strong design concepts, he strives to create innovative forms that drive the overall landscape framework; his favorite creative process includes designing details like custom furniture and shade structures; planting design; and experimenting with different materials for walls and paving. Woonghee he believes these tangible elements have the greatest impact on the atmosphere and experiences that people encounter.

In recent years at SWA, he has led and managed many domestic and international projects, including Dubai Creek Harbor, Belgrade Mall, The Address Residences Dubai Opera, and Hyundai HQ Master Plan, to name a few.
