Laura is SWA’s Director of Human Resources. Laura joined the firm in August 2015 and has over 25 years of human resources experience, previously working in biotech and non-profit settings. Her background covers a broad range of HR disciplines, including HRIS management, benefit administration, immigration compliance, labor law regulations, employee relations, and project management. Her main goal at SWA is to be a reliable and valuable resource for all employee needs. She has a BS in Nutrition and a Master of Education from UT Austin. In 2000, she transitioned into Human Resources and earned her Professional Human Resources Certification in 2003. Professional memberships include national SHRM, Northern California SHRM, and the California Chamber of Commerce. Laura’s interests include traveling, sailing, reading, wine tasting, and golf.
