As an integral part of the public realm, the landscape conceptually provides an identifiable, broad-scale platform and framework for the Guohua Financial Tower and its accompanying podium. The design embraces this prominent site by emphasizing its visibility, sustainability, and accessibility, revealing serene spaces for office tenants to enjoy. This concept yields a set of five landscape components that are aesthetically and functionally interconnected. These key components include a wetland roof garden, a cascading vertical filtration garden, a central courtyard, an infinity water pool feature, and a sculpture plaza. Harvesting rainwater through a connected landscape system to treat and maintain the water quality aids the site’s sustainability goals.
